Watchful Bookkeeping LLC

Terms & Conditions

Effective date: October 10, 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the Watchful Bookkeeping LLC website at watchfulbookkeeping.com (“Website”). Watchful Bookkeeping LLC is a Colorado limited liability company owned and operated by Ron Auer. In these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Watchful Bookkeeping LLC.

By using this Website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

1. Website Purpose

This Website provides information about our bookkeeping services and general educational content related to business recordkeeping.

Website content is general information and may not address your particular circumstances. It is not tax, legal, investment, or other individualized professional advice. Please consult an appropriately qualified professional when you need that advice.

Watchful Bookkeeping LLC does not provide tax preparation services.

2. Inquiries and Client Relationships

Submitting a contact form, sending an email, scheduling a consultation, or participating in a free consultation does not establish a client relationship or obligate either party to proceed.

Bookkeeping services begin only after we both agree to a separate written engagement agreement. That agreement defines the services, fees, responsibilities, payment terms, cancellation provisions, and other conditions of the engagement.

These Website terms do not replace or modify a signed engagement agreement. If there is a conflict concerning client services, the engagement agreement controls.

3. Service Information and Pricing

Service descriptions on this Website provide a general overview. The work appropriate for your business will be determined after reviewing your needs and records.

Monthly bookkeeping pricing is based on your business’s size and needs. The scope and price of setup, cleanup, or other work will be included in your proposal or engagement agreement.

Website information does not constitute a binding offer, and no particular financial, business, or tax result is guaranteed.

4. Contact Forms and Confidential Information

Please provide accurate contact information when submitting an inquiry.

Do not submit account passwords, Social Security numbers, full bank or credit card numbers, tax returns, or other sensitive financial records through the Website’s general contact form. If documents are needed, we will discuss an appropriate method for sharing them.

Submitting information does not grant us permission to publish your inquiry, business records, or financial information. We will not use your name, business name, or submitted materials as a testimonial or marketing example without your permission.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information collected through the Website.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use this Website lawfully. You must not:

  • Attempt to access systems, accounts, or information without authorization.
  • Upload or transmit malicious software.
  • Disrupt or interfere with the Website’s operation.
  • Submit fraudulent inquiries, impersonate another person, or send unsolicited advertising.
  • Use Website content in a way that infringes another person’s rights.

We may take reasonable steps to restrict access or protect the Website when misuse occurs.

6. Website Content and Intellectual Property

Website content created or owned by Watchful Bookkeeping LLC—including our original text, logo, and design—is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party names, trademarks, images, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners.

You may view, print, or download Website content for your own informational purposes, including evaluating our services for your business.

You may not republish, sell, or distribute our original content without prior written permission, except as permitted by law. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property.

7. Third-Party Websites and Services

This Website may link to third-party websites or services, including scheduling platforms and software providers.

We do not control those services or their content, availability, security, or privacy practices. Your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies. A link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement.

8. Website Availability and Accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to keep Website information accurate and current. However, information may contain errors or become outdated, and the Website may occasionally be unavailable.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Website and its general informational content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability or suitability for a particular purpose.

This section concerns Website use and does not alter obligations under a signed client engagement agreement.

9. Limits on Website Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Watchful Bookkeeping LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, this Website.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or gross negligence. These terms do not waive rights or remedies that applicable law makes nonwaivable.

Liability relating to bookkeeping services is addressed separately in the client engagement agreement.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Website terms are governed by Colorado law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, subject to applicable nonwaivable laws.

If a concern arises about Website use, please contact us so we can attempt to resolve it informally. This does not prevent either party from pursuing available legal remedies or meeting a filing deadline.

These Website terms do not require mandatory arbitration.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the Website or business changes. We’ll post updated terms here with a new effective date. Changes apply from that date forward.

Changes to these Website terms do not amend an existing signed client engagement agreement.

12. Severability

If a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
